I’m Susan Downing (hello!) and I help my clients purchase, refinance or build their home so they can fulfill their goal of homeownership. I remember purchasing my first home like it was yesterday. I called every bank and mortgage company looking for the best mortgage program for my husband and me. It was frustrating to decipher all this mortgage information. I had no idea what we needed for down payment or funds for closing costs. I always thought there should be an easier way. I made it my mission to obtain a job as a mortgage originator and have helped thousands of clients over the past twenty-five years realize their dream of homeownership. Fast forward to the present day, and here I am having more fun than ever, helping my clients purchase and refinance their homes. Because, at the end of the day, owning a home is truly the heart of everything. And to me, that’s a tragedy because purchasing or refinancing a home doesn’t have to be this big, scary, looming concept.
